XACT is a small program with which we wull have a graphic interface for Shorteen, Shntool, Monkey's audio compressor, FLAC, Wavpack, TTA, cdda2wav and dvda-author, so any user will be able to make use of this app with having to deal with comands. In this way, working with these programs will be faster and easier. Besides, all together with sox, LAME, AtomicParsley, TagLib and mp4v2, xACT offers complete support to work with teh vast majority of audio formats in a professional manner, which will allow us just to have a single program to do all what we need to do. XACT will also allow us to have a better performance and behavior in our Mac OS X, as it adds several different functions as they can be the cut and join files, share them, etc.

Because of that, xACT is one of the most complete programs for any person, professional or not, that wants to edit their audos or convert them. However and inspite its new interface, xACT it is not a program that is easy to use and people that have no knowledge about it will need to spend some time looking for the options that it has.
