I cannot get random verse of the day notifictaions to stop, and the same ones repeat multiple times. None of these sync across devices in term sof reading location. I expected this to occur as it does with the Kindle app. However, it seems this app cannot seem to get rid of major bugs and inconveniences.

I think they need to hire more app designers to improve the design, preferences, notifications and syncronicity acorss devices.
