Netgear Wireless N Dual Band Wnda3100 Driver For Mac

I just purchased a new iMac. An actual model identifier might be interesting. About this Mac I took the Wireless N adapter (WNA) from the backside of my old PC. Doesn't 'a new iMac' have a wireless network adapter built in? Which 'the Wireless N adapter (WNA)' is this (maker, model)? Knowing practically nothing about any of this hardware, I'd guess that macOS includes no device drivers for your USB-connected 'the Wireless N adapter (WNA)', so I'd be a little amazed if it worked.

But, again, I doubt that you need to add some old 'the Wireless N adapter (WNA)' to 'a new iMac' to enable it to join a wireless network. Is there some sort of light that is supposed to turn on on the WNA to let me know it's working?

With my weak psychic powers, I know nothing about your (unspecified) 'the Wireless N adapter (WNA)'. sadly there is no internet on my iMac yet. Is there some working wireless network to which you expect to connect? How, exactly, did you determine that 'there is no internet on my iMac'? Syetem Preferences.
