My use case is that I often have a batch of hundreds of images and a few have NO EXIF data making their sort order in all photographic software meaningless. What I want is the ability to sort the batch of photos by any EXIF atttribute. In this case I'd obviously use the EXIF datetime field but other may want to use another attribute.
