Entries must not, in the sole and absolute discretion of the Sponsor, contain obscene, provocative, defamatory, sexually explicit, or otherwise objectionable or inappropriate content. Entries deemed by Sponsor to be inappropriate will be disqualified. Entries owned by a third party, or the use of any trademarks, service marks, logos, brands, or products owned by a third party are not acceptable for entry into the Sweepstakes.

The B&H Social Team will randomly select a winner from among all eligible entries every Monday during the Entry Period, for a total eight (8) winners (each a 'Winner'). Each Winner will receive a B&H Gift Card pre-valued in the amount of $500.00. No cash or other substitutions will be offered.
Winner selection is in the sole and absolute discretion of the B&H Social Team. Any taxes are the sole responsibility of the winner. Winners will be notified and receive their prize at the email address associated with the account to which their Entry was posted or the email account provided with a mail-in entry. The odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received.
Identity of Winners/Eligible Participants. Winners will be identified by the email account associated with the Facebook or Twitter account from which their Entry was submitted or the email account provided with a mail-in entry. An email account holder shall mean the natural person assigned to such email account by the internet access or online service provider or other organization responsible for assigning email addresses for the domain associated with such email account. Any issues regarding the identity of a Winner shall be resolved by Sponsor in its sole discretion.
The Sweepstakes is only open to residents of the United States that are at least eighteen (18) years of age on their entry date and is not open to employees of Sponsor, their immediate family, any person domiciled with such employees, or any affiliates or subsidiaries of Sponsor. Entrants retain full ownership and copyrights to their Submission. However, by entering the Sweepstakes entrants grant Sponsor permission to use their Entries for promotional purposes on their respective social media channels with proper credit. I bought an iMac 5K and this memory does work well in it BUT only if you use Crucial memory without Apple memory. If you add these modules to an iMac 5K that also has stock Apple memory, you will get kernel panics and it will constantly freeze up and reboot.
After a day of this, I wasn't able to start my mac at all and had to bring it into the @. If you run a diagnostic check with both types of memory you will get an error. Run the diagnostic check with just the Crucial memory or just the Apple memory everything works fine and you won't run into any problems. So yes, it works great on it's own BUT DO NOT MIX WITH APPLE MEMORY, they do not play well together! I hope this saves other iMac 5K users some headaches. All the functions of the MacBook Pro are working in perfection. With 16GB of RAM multitasking is a breeze. Memory installation is fairly easy. There are several youtube videos which demonstrate RAM installation in MacBook Pro.
There are step by step instructions as well on apple's website. Crucial memory are well respected and have won several awards for quality and reliability. So if you are in market to upgrade the RAM of your MacBook Pro 2012, this memory is highly recommended. I am an average user - don't do heavy graphics, or use heavy applications, but I do have many apps running at the same. I didn't think that for what I do I needed more memory. Turns out I was very wrong. Follow Apple's instructions for IMacs from Late 2012 or later - easy 5 minute start to finish, and makes a huge difference. Now I have 24 GB and my IMac using 12GB on average. 8GB were clearly not enough.
Totally worth it. Had no problem mixing these with the Apple stock 2x4GB. I was suspecting that my system was sluggish due to a memory short fall but not completely sure that was the problem.
Following the upgrade the system is performing much faster. I find application responsiveness much improved and also I notice much less disk activity. This is a great computer, but being in the middle of my senior year of college I could not afford any sluggishness. I noticed that my computer was running more slowly with all the web research I was performing along with needing multiple MS Word documents and PDFs open at the same time. I was uncertain if a faster hard drive or more ram would fix the issue, so I chose the ram. It was easy to install and my performance picked up right away, my term paper and research are going much more smoothly. The price for performance boost I recieved was just what I needed. Now my laptop has a total of 24G RAM. Besides SSD and CPU, adding RAM is the best choice of improving use experience-and RAM is considerably cheaper than upgrading CPU. Well, what can I say about these RAM? Nothing-The only time you will notice the differences of 2 RAM is when one of them breaks, and your computer starts to complain about it at boot-up. As long as we are buying from reputable brands (e.g., Crucial) from reputable seller (e.g., B&H), what matters is the price.

I bought 2 packs (4 x 8GB) and placed the cards in the 4 slots. For me, it was worth the investment as I save time and I am able to work on other tasks on the computer while it rendered video. I even noticed that web pages popped up faster when surfing the net. I was told by a computer techie that 8GB is all I need but after the upgrade, I can confidently say, he was wrong. The improved performance made a difference for me.
